These two tiles were modeled on Rebecca Miller and Mathew Dix, the owners of North Tabor Farm @northtaborfarm I created the prototypes 30 years ago. They are still working the farm today.

I finished tiling my kitchen sink backsplash and window sill today - and I baked some bread. 😊
Most of the tiles are mine, but I did tuck in 5 by Argus Brugge. I love their work and I really like it combined with my painterly tile designs.

I gave myself permission to play with paint and my gelli plate - as a way to unclog and loosen up before starting new 2022 projects in the ceramic studio. I was feeling particularly blocked, so forcing myself to pull quick mono-prints was a great exercise. When I’m really blocked and/or rusty, I revert back to drawing in a style that I used in my late teens - 40 years ago. 😊 This exercise was about turning off the brain and tuning out the critical internal voice.
